A few weeks ago we needed a smaller sponge cake for a dessert we served in the restaurant and I made up this recipe. For the asian-inspired dessert we served that time we added matcha tea, but today I have made them a bit more Christmas-like as in Sweden with saffron and raisins instead.
Happiness is sometimes to get in the kitchen and serve a sweet caramel walnut pie to your loved ones!
Can I offer some homemade purple corn crisps with cheese dip? Or would you prefer the cheese sauce hot to go with your pasta instead? And the crisps to accompany your guacamole? It’s tasty either way. And colorful. And just nice in general.
