I was brought up in Sweden but have lived in the Netherlands for a long time. Therefore, I’m often asked for typical Swedish-Dutch assignments. One of them is translation of culinary articles and books.
Together with my Dutch partner we have recently translated the successful Mandelmann Cookbook from Marie and Gustav Mandelmann from Swedish to Dutch.
Apart from books, we also translate articles, recipes and other culinary related productions.
We read Dutch, Swedish and English and we write Dutch and Swedish. In this way, you always can be sure you get a written text from a native tong.
Our work always starts around the table to discuss the style, tone and expectations. Once agreed, we get to work!
