Chocolate truffles with kidney beans and white miso

A few days ago I introduced the white miso to you. Did you miss it? Click here! As you probably understood I very fast became a huge fan of this paste and of course had to try it it everywhere!

Sunny fruits, lavender and white chocolate sauce

For a dinner with dear friends last week, I made a new desert. A dessert with lovely mango, strawberries, lavender and a white chocolate sauce. It was so incredible good and luckily I had made way too much so that each one could take a second portion. On those moments you are extra happy that you have a blog to share your best recipes on hihi!

The art of blending by Tori Ritchie + black cherry sorbet

A few days ago I got my hands on a brand new book, The art of blending. What an inspirational book!

Heavenly, bitter chocolate mousse

Tomorrow it is the last day of the year 2015. Of course it should be celebrated! If you have planned a dinner with friends and family, you need a grand dessert. Something you can prepare in advance, that doesn’t ask too much effort and doesn’t cost a fortune. I have the answer for you – rich and bitter chocolate mousse!

Healthy chocolate fudge with dates and ice chocolate

This Christmas isn’t like any other Christmas for me. It is the first one without my father that passed away earlier this year. I’m busy going along the memory lane and the normal Christmas feeling have difficulties to find its way through. Luckily I get reality checks through my sisters children and they remind me about the importance of making Christmas candy, a yearly tradition. And of course we should!

Soft gingerbread with white beans and pecans

Almost christmas! The different taste and smell that comes to my mind when I think about christmas would be saffron, cinnamon, Seville (bitter) orange, cloves, ginger and lots of different kind of dried fruits and nuts. In other words, high time to start using some of these spices.

Raw chocolate and orange cake with cashew

A few weeks ago, I had a post on the blog with homemade bread and a bitter orange marmalade. The same evening that I had made it, I had a vision about the marriage of the tastes marmalade, cashew nuts and chocolate. I had to try it! And it turned out really great, I just have to share it with you!

Avocado_icecream

Avocado ice cream with mint and chocolate sauce

If someone would have mentioned a recipe for ice cream made of mainly avocado a few years ago, I would have been thinking he/she was a lunatic. Luckily people change and so do I. I hope you are ready for it as well!

Raw smoothie with dragon fruit and saffron

When in Spain a few days ago for work, I of course also visited the Mercado de la Boqueria in Barcelona. The giant food market is to be found in the middle of the city, along Les Rambles where all tourists and pickpockets thieves come together. I visited the market together with my husband and a student Frederique. Luckily we found out already a few days before our trip that we both share the same interest. FOOD! Great fun in other words!

Sunday treat with pumpkin muffin

It’s Sunday afternoon, its almost the end of september 2015. You have been good all week doing your workouts, you are well prepared for the coming week, you have been kind to your children/ husband/wife (pick an appropriate alternative). Now it is finally you-time!
