A simple luxury is to be able to offer your own homemade crispbread for breakfast or the drink. Today I make a super simple crispbread with teff and seeds!
Bread. With a hearty crust and air bubbles. Toasted, crunchy and infinitely good. Mmmm. Today there will be crunchy chia-walnut bread for breakfast, lunch and the dinner with soup.
For some time I have looked for and longing for nut bread. That was until I decided to redeem myself from my longings and bake my very own nut bread. Filled with fine nuts and seeds. Lovely chewy and tasty with a slice of cheese or maybe some jam.
This Christmas bread contains all the classic Swedish taste of christmas. Cloves, bitter orange, ginger and cumin provides a wonderful aroma and flavor that immediately takes me back to my childhood Christmases. Enjoy it with simple accessories like butter and a creamy, mild cheese so that al the spices can flourish on their own.
How is it possible to make a great tasting bread out of cauliflower and beetroot? I have absolutely no idea but what I do know, is that it works. The vegetables (and some more good ingredients) form together a moist bread that goes perfectly with any kind of spread or why not just plain butter?
If you recently started with reducing your carbs in your diet, you probably are also starting to miss a thing or two. One is probably bread. Cause, let’s be honest.
